    Made an RIS 1.092 OG drained the bk onto a big slurry (prob 2-3qt) i worked up from a yeast cake 6 hrs before. Fermentation started within an hr and went hard overnite. got up and temp was 76 and room temp was 66. Too much yeast? temp get too high?My first big beer and ive never got many beers...

    Bought them from a guy on CL, he said they hold some chemical for the company he works for. Its been a year or so but I think they get washed with nitric acid and then triple rinsed with something. If you look inside they are spotless and they dont smell like anything.

    That is simply awesome!!!!!! Looking to plant more and more hops next year. Only have an couple going this year. Trying to get a feel for how many and how much room i might need. Dont need 300 lbs, could sell them I suppose. Still that is great to see Nebraska Hops!!

    Cooler MLT Temp Probe

    Thats your answer, I built my own. Tried a short digital therm, but it just wasnt doin it. Mines prob 12" and works great.
