Exactly what I did for a golden coffee stout and it worked great. I used a coffee press and overkilled the amount of coffee in it.

This is why I started using a blow off tube on every batch. Absolutely it's good, there is so much krausen that no oxygen would get in there. Get a airlock on it as soon as it calms down. Great video.

A place I go to once a month for beer tasting has started doing just that. I'm pretty sure it's been successful. I'll check with them next tasting in Jan. Of course they are selling a lot of good wines and beer so it's most likely their own customer base.

I have been brewing 5 and 10 gal. batches on my modified King-Kooker for almost a year. I picked up some angle iron and went to town on it. this should give you some idea's. I really like it and the price was right.
