    1st batch not to great

    Its been bottled for 2 wks at room temp and i opened one to see and there was no carbonation, also the cider tastes like mild jack daniels hahaha... Tis was my first attempt but im still lightly disappointed... Now what? I got about 8 bottles left...

    Secondary

    O my batch has been in secondary for bout a week, im allowing it to go another week before bottling. What steps do i take for bottling to make it carbonated? From what i jave read it needs to sit about another 2 weeks before going in the fridge? Thanks for the help, it tastes awesome so far!

    Pear cider

    Juiced about 25 pears to do a cider. Used champagne yeast and a lil peptic enzyme... The juice seems really thick... Anyone make pear def and think the same thing.

    Slightly worried.... One of my smaller batches is rarely bubbling... Maybe 4-5 bubbles per minute.     Leaving/putting cut up fruit in cider batch?

    So i added some Very nice ripe apples to one of my smaller batches of cider, i cubed them and through them in the carboy and now its bubbling like crazy. What are your thoughts on adding or leaving fruit in the cider itself while in the primary stage? I couldn't find much info at on all this...
