    Control Panel HERMS/RIMS System

    Basically I was thinking of using two pumps. One for the CFC to push the wort and one for the HLT. I was thinking I could use that instead of using an immersion chiller in the HLT.

    I took a gravity reading yesterday for a batch of cider I made last week and was kind of surprised. When I spun my hydrometer in it stuck at 1.050'ish and had quite a bit of bubbles come up. However as I was standing and looking in amazement I noticed the hydrometer slowly sinking. Is that normal?

    Beer Smith gave me an OG of 1.063. However when I too the OG of preboil it was at 1.055 and my post boil was at 1.070. I took readings at 60 degrees. Does any one have any ideas?
