Dry hopping with pellets? is it possible?

I have some trouble getting whole hops . I tend to use pellets when I brew but I'm interested in dryhopping and wondered if you could use pellets for that too. My gut says I can't but I thought I'd put it out there to see if anyone ever tried it.

getting started with small batches in the Caribbean

Here's my two cents from experience, 1. Your question about temperature is relative to the style. You probably already know about the diff between fermenting laguar and ale so I won't bore youe you . I brew ales almost exclusively and always ferment around 75f to 80f and never have had any...

    Imperial and IPA question

Here's a beginner question. What makes an imperial an imperial? Is it just the abv? can it be any style? Also when someone says they love IPA's I never know if that means India pale ale or Imperial pale ale. I know these are very basic questions but thanks for your patience and you replies.

Oh no I just started to get ready to prime my beer only to find I'm out of corn sugar. I make 2.5 gallon test batches and use 2.5 oz of corn sugar for them. I have regular sugar and pale malt extract, I know I can use either one to prime but I don't know how much to use. Has anyone used these...

Need Help with First All Grain Test

I'm doing my first all grain batch tonight and thought I should do a 2.5 gal test batch first. My question is sparging absolutely necessary with this size batch or can the entire 2.5 be mashed? I know sparging rinses the sugar from the grain but I don't have a fly sparge system and am unaware of...
