    stopper fell in

    Sooooo I accidentally pushed my stopper into my glass carboy.. any way to get it out and will it contaminate the beer?

    Oh, well I think it should be fine, and by racking I meant changing from a plastic bucket to a glass carboy. But yea I think it should be ok, thanks for all your help! =)

    Nope, I read that after initial fermentation subsides (about 6-7 days) it is safe to rack into the secondary fermenter. Is that not correct? By the way my initial gravity was 1.061 and I took it again after I racked it and it was 1.031. But no I did not check it for days in a row, just waited...

    The activity of my first day of fermentation was nuts and when I woke up it had bubbled up through the air lock and was all over the top of the bucket, I cleaned it and refilled the air lock and placed it back in the hole, is this bad? Shhould I let it air out?

    I am also wondering if there is a way to do a 60 or 90 minute ipa but allowing the IBU to stay around 25-35? I'm assuming this is virtually impossible with constant hopping?

    Yea lbs was a mistake haha, and I used a pre packaged priming sugar, hopefully it doesn't need to be boiled became I didn't boil it lol I just added it then racked then bottled.
