I know I had to do that before when a friend knocked my hose loose that connects the false bottom to the spigot. There was no problem at all with my brew. Turned out to be very good. I would say not to worry too much about that. IMHO

I've been brewing of course for a few years. What want to know is, are there any recipes to make something comparable to bud light? The reason I ask is because a good friend of mine always tries my beer and says it taste great and he likes it. Then he opens his fridge and grabs another bud...
Your mash tun is fine. Your kettle needs to be at least 8 gallons for a 5 gallon batch. Smaller batches or 2 separate ones and then combine even tho I don't like that idea.
