We actually stopped selling anything except 4-1/8" shanks, because 99% of shanks we sold were that length. We were carrying inventory on other sizes that almost never sold. Now, we occasionally get the special order request, which we happily filled, but they were few and far between...

I'd agree with dx250. It's nice to have the adjustability. Is it critical? No. Many, many people do just fine without flow control. But if you can spare the extra cash, there's no reason not to go for the flow control.

Have you considered Accuflex Bev-Seal Ultra Barrier Tubing? We sell a lot of this to cure the off taste from the lines.

We'd recommend Taprite. It's worth the extra $10 or so vs. the economy lines. They perform better, last longer, and have the backing of a US company.

We have a 4 tap in our keezer in our shop and have rotated faucets over time and have used both the Perlicks and the Intertaps. We like the Intertap stainless faucets, unless you are going with flow control, in which case the Perlicks 650SS would probably be our choice. That said, we sell a lot...
