Ok, this maybe a silly question but I tasted an award commercial winning ginger beer yesterday and thought it tasted like a homebrew pale ale with ginger flavouring.

(A Morgans ginger beer kit brew tastes better but is not light and malty with a beer taste.)

I was thinking about doing an experiment by mixing a 40% tin of coopers pale ale or larger with 60% ginger beer kit.

Has anyone attemped this crazy stunt with any sucess or am simply stupid?

I say go for it. The worst that can happen is you lose some time and money but learn something you didn't know before.

My friend and I recently made a pistachio nut brown ale that turned out...... not as good as we had hoped. But we did what we always do with our failed experiments and we gave it to our friends to drink. Still, it was a good experiment and we learned a lot.

Give it a shot and then let us know how it turned out.
