I just went to Kroger's to buy sugar for the Apfelwein recipe, which calls for 2 pounds of dextrose (corn sugar). Well, I got mixed up and bought 2 pounds of Brown cane sugar instead of the dextrose... Will this hurt anything?

I did a 2.5-gallon batch with 1 pound of brown sugar and Montrachet yeast; turned out great. Apple-juice-gold colored, dry, a little tart. You'll be fine with the brown sugar.
I made a batch with brown sugar. good stuff.
