Yuri_Rage - I bow down to your expertise and energy level. I am blown away with how much you have gotten done in such a short time. I'm just waiting for the cool stuff to come out. (Not that the shed is not cool also).
BTW, I got a to do list a mile long, you doing a vacation in Hawaii any time soon? :)

I rented an insulation blower from Home Depot today. I got about 7-8 inches of coverage throughout. That stuff is messy!

Wow! That looks great. I don't know how I missed this thread earlier, but I'm glad I did because the jealousy would have killed me.

Yuri
Do you plan on ventilating the attic at all, say with sofit vents and a turbine or anything? It sure is nice to have power, even if it's a temporary soultion....

The interior is really shaping up now. I need to go back and fill in a bunch of screws, but most of the big 4x12 sheets of drywall are in place. There will be plenty of troweling and sanding over the next week or so.

why not put lenoleum in the flooring? its cheaper than tile and if u get a quality one it looks close to tile. ull save a little money that way can then consider a better winch system that u seem to have gotten a lot of feedback on

I'm just not going to go bargain basement on the flooring. The brew hut is in a nice neighborhood where all of the houses have a lot of amenities and upgrades. Since it looks like I may actually be able to include the square footage as living space, I'm going to make it quality, livable space. Tile is only going to cost about $200 plus a bit of labor. It's a small price to pay for an upscale workspace that will add a lot of value to the property.

yessum. when u resell the place if tht counts into the sq. footage i guess there is no point to worry about that as you will get some money back for it. especially if u can get it to count as "livable" space or a "guest" room. Yeast is living hence it is your guest right?

This is coming together very nicely. What kind of brew rig do you have...gas? What do you plan to do about venting?

Can you imagine being a kid whose family buys Yuri's house? And you have to go live in the shed? That would be awesome.

As for steam codensation will you be making a backsplash? If so are you going "Balls-out" and going with SS for that? Now that would be Uber Impressive!

Looking great!

I won't be installing a permanent backsplash, but if I can find some aluminum diamond plate on the cheap, maybe I'll hang it behind the rig.

The hard work has begun:

I am in the process of finishing my basement and seeing those drywall pics makes me cringe. Good luck and it really looks great!

Yuri - Time to stop slacking and get back to work. But don't forget to brew between the work sets, you need to remember why you need to get this done before it gets too da.. hot.

How much do you need? Might be able to find some scrap where my cousin works--at the very least a decent discount.
