The first thing you notice at a new restaurant (that hasn't even opened yet) is the perlick taps haha

A new sushi bar is opening up and I peaked in the window. I noticed a 4 tap system and saw some nice looking perlicks. I can't wait to try the beer lol

I forsee Bud, Bud Lite, Miller Lite and "craft brewed" Sam Adams. Hopefully I'm wrong and RI residents desire more flavor.

Im sure there will be a cheaper beer on tap but I would hope they have some good stuff.

A bar down the street has over 100 different beers so this sushi place sucks, ill just go there lol

I'll play.

You know you spend a lot of time brewin and reading about brewing when...

1. You see material everywhere to make conicals and brew kettles.
2. You try a new beer and immediately wonder what the folks on HBT think of it.
3. You volunteer to work at local breweries when you don't have free time for your wife. :cross:

Seriously though, I will and do stop all the time inquiring about material laying around in yards I can use to make brewing stuff.

You know.....

When you go to log into your computer at work using your HBT username and password.

When.....
You have two brews in fridge, two in fermenter, and your planning your next three batches.

When ...

it's barely spring and you're thinking about the beers you want to have around next fall and winter.

Hopefully they have some good stuff on draft, not just the standard Sapporo, etc!

Japan's coming alive with micro-brews, though. I suggest checking out Baird Beer, for one. I think they are shipping overseas now. I particularly dig their Suruga Bay IPA.

The only problem is, when normal beer (Sapporo, etc) costs $13 a six pack in Japan, you can bet your fermentor that the craft brews will cost a lot more.

When your homepage on Chrome, FireFox and Chrome on the GFs computer is set to Homebrewtalk.

When 2/3 of your favorites on the Itouch are homebrewtalk.

When you're willing to spend 10 minutes waiting for your crap phone to load homebrewtalks new posts page on the toilet in a grocery store.
