I'm 99% sure I'm just being overly paranoid and that it's still just gassing off CO2, but just to be sure...

looks fine to me, seal it back up before it does become an infection

Haha, way ahead of you. This was during my final gravity check a few minutes ago. FG reached, time to cold crash. Couldn't help but snap a pic to make sure...

What a coincidence, I called my last baltic porter Oil Spill because it looked like that
 
I can't really tell for sure, but the 'oily' slick seems a bit suspicious to me. The bubbles seem fine.

That might be the lighting/reflection of me holding my phone over the fermenter... Nothing really looks "oily," just a slight white film in certain areas.
 
Just as a little update for the greater Borg knowledge bank, after a cold crash in the primary, that whiteish film is gone.
