I'm pretty much a newb.

Ordered NB's Dead Ringer. It recommends a yeast starter but I've also read recommendations of just pitching two packs of dry yeast.

Any recommendations?

The O.G. is listed as 1.064. One pack of dry yeast should do. Re-hydrate for best results. Did you order it with dry or liquid yeast??

For this brew and other "clean" yeast brews, dry is a little easier than a starter. Eventually you will want to brew a beer that really requires a liquid yeast to get the right flavor. Then, start making starters. Or, start now if you think you are ready.

Enjoy your Bell's clone. I finally got to try the real thing this summer. Maybe it was not fresh, but my Dead Ringer was better.

Thanks guys. I'll pitch two hydrated packs of dry.

The real Two Hearted is one of my favorites. Hopefully this turns out.
