Dumb question but I just wanted some reassurance that I'm ok. I brewed an IPA yesterday and had some extra liquid in the mash tun so I pulled it and froze it to make a starter with. I saved 2 liters and split them into batches. My question is that from looking at the yeast starter guide the OG should be about 1.020. The reading i have for the left over mash i have is 1.032. My assumption is that it would be ok to boil his for 10 mins, cool and pitch the yeast to get the starter going for a 1 liter starter. Should I dilute it to get the gravity down or will it be fine the way it is?
thanks
