Mixed 6 qts local honey along with a 40oz. Can of raspberry purée. I added water till the gravity was at 1.18 (aprox 6 gal.). I also added 3 tsp of yeast nutrient. I added 1 pk of EC1118. Should I have bubbles in the airlock now? it's been 26 hrs @ 70 deg. When should I think about repitching?

Did you aerate the must before pitching? Also, did you make a yeast starter or pitch it dry?

I did not make a starter it was pitched dry. I did aerate the best I could with a plastic paddle with holes in it.

Yep I agree with GinKings...aerate it 2 or 3 times a day if you can, until you hit the 2/3 sugar break. Them yeasties love oxygen, and since you pitched it dry it's going to take a few days to replicate. I think repitching at this point is way overkill...give it a few days.

The longest I've had to wait for a ferment, was when I tried to start a kit batch that I'd put sulphites in by mistake.

I was also using EC-1118 and it took 3 weeks to start.

If you pitched the yeast dry, then it's got to moisten up first, then start it's multiplying. So I'd say just wait. It's more likely just a long lag phase.
