Hey all.

Ready to brew my first batch (extract with grains) ad i think im ready to go except that im worried about the yeast.

I purchased 10 grams of s-04 from my local BOP guy. He had a much bigger bag of it that he took it from, put it in a ziplock and sold it to me like that.

Do i need to be concerened about they yeast or cleanliness or anything like that? Should i just go ahead and sprinkle into the fermenter right out of the bag and not worry about it?

Thanks

My LHBS also sells yeast in the little zip-lock bags. I'm sure there are 100 reasons why this might be a bad idea, but so far it seems to work just fine for me!

Thanks. I'm super nervous because it's my first batch. Good to hear it posed no problems for you
