Our local beer store has drawings from time to time (usually from Sam Adams promotions) so I tend to stick my name in the hat on occasion when I go in to buy beer.
I just got a call from SWMBO to say I had won the Samuel Adams homebrewing equipment kit! YAY! :rockin:
I am not sure what all comes with this kit, but from what I can gather by looking around online, it might be one that includes a fermenting bucket, glass carboy, racking canes, etc. and a copy of Complete Joy of Homebrewing.
My father-in-law, Jumbo, passed on from kidney failure this past Monday. As he has been an avid homebrewer for over 30 years, I take this as a gift from him.
I'll be sure to name my first batch with the new equipment in honor of him.
