I just racked my Surly Coffee Bender clone off its yeast cake. I collected around a half gallon of yeast sulry. I've never used 1098 before. Is this yeast cake going to work well to ferment a RIS like the one here: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f68/stoneface-russian-imperial-stout-26710/
or would you stick to wyeast 1056??
