Today I made my very first batch using a recipe kit. I made a heffe weizen recipe. I think everything went ok one thing it kind of smells like something burned when the wort was poured in the fermenter. When I started to boil before I added the malt I did take the kettle of the burner(electric stove) like I was sopose to stirred really good. I did see some stuff on the bottom of the kettle when I was done. Do you think I burned it or is it soppose to kind of smell like burn sauce? What can I do about it? Second hefe weizen is light blonde lookingbeer this was dark why?
