Though not technically a home-brew supplier, I had such a good experience with the company and their product, that I thought I would be amiss not to share. If this post belongs elsewhere instead, please do tell.
For those building control panels, wiring PIDs, LEDs, etc., you do not have to fight with the stiff THHN wiring which I found very difficult to work with. I don't recall exactly how I found them, but sasi-wire.com has silicone shielded wire (rated to 1000v) much superior to the THHN you will find locally.
Anyway, their "HP6" product line was by far easier to strip and crimp, more flexible, and I found especially good for the hinged panel with PIDS, timers, switches, and indicators. I also think 16 or 20 gauge for most of the panel wiring would have been more than sufficient for those items. I would save the 14 awg for the pump circuit.
I did end up leaving some THHN in my panel in areas inside the box, that don't have to flex when opening the door, but if I ever have cause to wire another panel, I will probably go with this 100%. It's a little more expensive per foot, but you buy just what you need.
