Instead of wiring a box that turns the wine fridge on / off, I was contemplating wiring my Inkbird directly into the fridge & just turn the compressor on / off. What I have is a Haier wine fridge with this diagram. Am I correct in thinking that I can replace the Rt connected to M1 (compressor) with pins 7 & 8 on my Inkbird or would it be the switch further up the line from the delay module? Am I missing something obvious? TIA for any help.

You are on the right track. One of my fermentation chambers is an old Haier wine fridge I found on Craigslist. I disconnected the compressor from the internal control board, and attached a new power cord directly to the compressor. The fridge now has two power cords.

The compressor power cord plugs into my temp controller. The factory power cord is not necessary for cooling, but I plug it into an outlet so the fridge's internal light can be used.
