So I usually bottle my mead in standard size bottles (33oz glass, flip top because I’m pretty new to this) and I recently got some 8oz flip top glass bottles. I would really like to bottle into those for gifts and infusions and such, but my question is, will the smaller size affect how long the bottles can be stored?
I know they don’t keep as long as corked bottles, and that’s fine, but I don’t want to give them as gifts if they’re gonna go off in a month or two.
Obviously the ABV will play a part in this, but I can control that part on my end.
