Will opened hop packages keep????

So I'm only making 2 gallon batches. I just brewed a Hefe and only had to use about .25oz. I wrapped up the package tight, scotch tapped it, sealed it tight in a Ziplock bag and threw it the freezer. Will they keep? If so, for how long?

I wrap mine up and put them in the freezer once opened. Im not sure if thats right or not, but it's what I do

1 put hops in zip lock bag
2 fill sink with water
3 slowly lower zip lock in water forcing out air and seal and freeze
4???????????????
5 profit

Or get a food saver

I use mason jars purged with co2 for hop storage, in the freezer of course

Ramitt's plan seems like it would workvery well--but I have kept them in ziploc bags in the freezer with no problems. I roll most of the air out rather than the water trick, but that idea is better.

I do it the same way the op does when I'm saving the odd bits till dry hop time. Works just fine.
