will a brewtools b40 steam hat fit a 15 gallon spike kettle?
I was able to find some of the dimensions here

the brewtools lists the b40 at 40 cm(15.74 inches) diameter
the spike is listed at 15.65 ID

has anyone tried putting a steam hat from a brew tools b40 onto a spike 15 gallon tank and how was the fit?

I can now answer the question.
Yes its fits, i have not added the extra seal yet, but just set it on top of the mash tun kettle and indeed it does fit, more of a build to be documented in another thread.
