So I was in residence last year and purchased a fine little fridge to get me through the year. it was never overly cold, and always had it cranked up to as cold as it could get.

Well since then I have converted it into a kegerator. But am now having some strange problems it it...

I put a keg in there and it froze like the entire damn thing !! So I brought the temp all the way down to the lowest setting possible and im still having freezing problems in my kegs !!!!!

How can I fix this? could I like insulate the freezer component that cools the fridge? what do you guys think? I dont want frozen kegs anymore!!

in refridgerant systems theres a phenomena where when the freon levels get low the system can freeze up. I am not in refridgeration to know the actual principles involved.

But with appliances, often times repairs are more costly than new.
