My worst is not cleaning the mash tun. Last time I left it for about 5 days with manky nasty wet grain in it. By the time I got to cleaning it out, I was coming out of the house with another garbage bag to find Young Dog rolling in the first bag. So dog bath AND mash tun bath. Also washing bottles. Everything else I'm happy to wash up and put away for another day, but those darn bottles.....

Well, didn't get CO2 hose attached last night. I DID stop on the way home from St. Johns to visit Four Leaf Brewing in Clare. Some things just don't lend themselves to procrastination.

Didn't get around to hooking up the third gas line in my kegerator.

I did manage to connect one of the two that are in there to the Marzen and Watermelon Wheat to get them carbed up.

So... Kudos to me!

I have had this issue as well, and usually its b/c I have to go get all the stuff out...carry the heavy arse beer to my kitchen, sanitize everything..it can become a full on job sometimes. Yet other times I love it.

My new 2-tap tower is arriving tomorrow. Already got the manifold and the extra C02 line. Waiting until the whole setup is here to install....maybe. Oh look, something shiny....

I kegged that beer that cold crashed for 4 or so weeks
Now there's a stout in a Carboy for about 2 months
I also added a second round of dry hops to my iipa and brewed
I'm spent

For me, I don't think it's procrastination as much as I am easily distracted by other things.

Pulled the Jeep onto the driveway to tack up the rocker panel. Decided to put the new battery in the daughter's car real quick.
Pulled out the old one.
Noticed all the rust under the battery and air filter box.
Vacuumed the rust and junk.
Chipped away more rust and spray painted that area.
Vacuumed the cowl.
Removed the MAF sensor and sprayed with MAF cleaner.
Sprayed down the Throttle Body with Carb Cleaner
Replaced Air Filter Box and drilled through into the body to bolt it down. (Old bolts rusted and broke)
Blew out the air filter.
Replaced MAF and Box cover.
Replaced Hazard Switch (Was always clicking, even when not activated)
Installed new battery.
Tested Hazard Switch (Still clicking. Bastard!)
Started car. Waited for it to smooth out.
Shaved and sanded quarter panel where I patched around the gas filler door.
Mixed and applied more BONDO.
Put tools away.

Went for a walk with the kid around town.
Watched Star Trek TOS with her until bedtime. (The Changeling, and the one where some of the crew got swapped with their counterparts from an alternate reality.)

Its the fermenter. I can't keg today, I wanted to harvest that yeast... but I haven't boiled water... Didn't I read a thread where you don't have to do that? Just swirl the beer around and into a sanitized mason jar it goes.... but I'd have to sanitize a mason jar... how old is that bucket of santizer? how do i know if its good? those PH strips are still out of stock at the LHBS... and i'll need to find the jar's lid... and clean the keg, and the transfer line that hooks up to my fermenter/bottling bucket...I was gunna take off those posts and clean 'em... and replace all the o-rings and seals... seems like too much stuff for this time of night... maybe tomorrow... after the kid goes to bed and I get some dinner... if its not too late...

I was gonna comment in this thread a couple of weeks ago, but you know...

Maybe I'll come back later and post something a little more on topic.

Got a mead in the fermentor that I have forgotten to degas for about a week now. Probably needs for vitamins too. Maybe I'll get to it tonight...

It's not really procrastination when you threw out your back is it ?
I've had 12 gallons of 13.6% now red ale sitting in primaries for almost 5 weeks.
And a lager on the fridge in primary but lagering for brewed it but couldn't move
Once I moved it to fridge after ferm chamber for like 4 weeks
Am I still ok?

Maybe ease up on the pain meds...
