I'm taking 5-10 bottles each of my Lime Hefeweizen, Two Mo's Pale Ale and Citra Smash Pale Ale.

Look forward to sharing it and seeing who likes what..... will be mostly BMC drinkers.... so these shouldn't be to inaccessible for them.... hopefully. :mug:

Happy New Year everybody! :ban:

We've got the dessert/drinks/ringing in the new year part of our neighborhood progressive dinner at our house tonight, and I'll be making my beer fridge with 3 cornys available to all. Got a handful of bottles left as well.

Moving all my good craft stuff to the main fridge for the night so it doesn't get taken, though!

I will be sharing my beer with myself and a buddy that might stop by. I have a keg of Xmas oatmeal stout and a wakatu IPA i'm trying to kill before 2015! If my friend doesn't stop by then it'll be all up to yours truly :drunk:

Does it count if I'm hosting? Got a few bottles of citra IPA and a few of spiced winter warmer ready in the fridge.

Sadly, these are the only beers I brewed this year... I suppose I won't be the only guy here whose resolutions involve more, rather than less, beer?

Yep! Hosting a small bunch of close friends at my place, I brewed a 5 gal batch of belgian wit that is slated for tonight.

I will be sharing some good craft brew with friends and a gang of 7 year old boys, tonight !

So I will not be able to make it to Time Square this year.

It is on my bucket list to see the ball drop in Time Square.

Happy & Safe New Years to those going into the fray tonight !
Enjoy a beer for me

I will be in bed by midnight this year:mug:

Bringing a 64 oz growler of coconut rum porter over to my neighbors tonight. I live in SoFla so I hope I don't get arrested 😊🎆🍻

People are coming here to drink my beer... hopefully they clean up afterward or something.

Taking a growler of a saison, as well as a growler of the imperial stout I brew every New Year's Day and tap the following Christmas Eve tonight. ~Cheers!

How did it go?

We had some friends over for New Years Eve and I had several store bought craft beers in the fridge that we enjoyed.

However, I broke out the first two bottles of my first brew (Coopers Canadian Blonde) to try it out and it was great. Had good carbonation, a good head, and nice lacing. It didn't have a long head retention but it was poured in a chilled glass.

Overall it's a good beer. My buddy thought it was really good. I will probably let some of it sit for a while longer just to see if and or how it improves but it was a great feeling to taste my first home brew and have it be that good !

I have a Belgian Wheat bottled on Dec. 29th that I am looking forward to trying when ready. I also have a "Big Ass Texas Brown Ale" in the secondary right now that I am anxious to get to.... My next brew is going to be "Flat Tyre" which is a Fat Tire clone.

Happy New Year everyone !
Cheers. :mug:

Took a 64oz grower of my brown ale but they had 2 growlers of IPA from Ballast Point... Unfortunately, my buddies drinking a Brown Ale after an IPA killed the taste.

How did it go?

It went pretty well. I returned home with just the empty bottles. The Two Moe's Pale Ale, which is a smash ale, two row and mosaic hops was the big hit. Mosaic hops are just amazing even by themselves.

I just opened a bottle of each at the beginning and a few people poured small tastes into small plastic wine cups.

By the end of the night it was all finished, so that was good. It was a pretty big party though... about fifty people.

Shared some last night (not New Years) with some friends. Big fans of the Belgian amber and Scotch ale. Edwort's Rye, while delicious, is 1) pretty complex and 2) very young (4 weeks). Said they liked it, but I could tell they weren't totally sure...but they emptied their glasses. Wasn't exactly the IPA they were perhaps expecting. Fascinating to quietly watch reactions of non brewers to homebrew. I drank their "craft" offerings of Sam Adams Oktoberfest and Magic Hat #9. Man I had to choke the Magic Hat down. I'm calling it a win for homebrew! :rockin:
