whole hops to pellet hops conversion rate

Hey guys, I am new to brewing and most of the recipes I use call for whole hops. I order my hops online and it is much easier to get pellet hops that way. I was just curious as to what the conversion rate from whole hop to pellet hop is, I have heard that you use 20% less when using pellets but I am not positive. Thanks!

As far as IBU's are concerned, I believe it's closer to 10% less when using pellet hops.
