Just a quick reminder FYI for everyone out there... When stirring your must before the first racking, make sure not to get a whirlpool going at the end. I "instinctively" whirlpooled the wine not even thinking about all of the sediment and yeast that will be making their way towards the middle cone. I had a quite expensive Riesling kit and just found a ton of yeast and sediment left over after racking.
Kit says that you should try to rack the first time collecting all of the sediment. Surely there's enough yeast left in the batch right? I guess only time will tell.... I'm gonna go back to making beer now.
