Which NE Hazey Beer to get?

MoreBeer has two hazey beers:

I’m curious which one you all prefer? My two favorite haze IPAs right now are N00b from Odd 13 and Citralush from Epic.

Thoughts? I like the citrus flavored hops more.

I would love to clone N00b, which uses Mosaic and El Dorado with vienna and rye malt. My guess they also toss in some flaked oats and wheat in there. When Odd 13 says you get blueberry and orange candy, damn, they were dead on . . . fantastic beer. Just have to figure out the yeast though.

Of the two kits, its probably closest to the haze, close OGs, probably similar flavor.

Of the three, this is probably the closest in terms of flavor, but the abv is high. If it were me, I would reduce the base extract by 15-20% to get the abv in the 6-6.5% range.

ABV won’t change the flavor though right? I can reduce the extract. I just don’t want to mess the recipe up tho!

Probably won't notice it, its just how I would go as I prefer beers below 6.5%. Brew to recipe and you'll probably be on target.

Yea I need more experience before venturing too much. I’ve brewed about 12-15 batches. But I haven’t ventured too often. I want to get this one just right. Hazey IPA on tap at home?? Yes please!!!

By the way, do you think this recipe is worth just replicating at my local brew store? It’s steep online plus $9 shipping.

Yeah thats exactly what I do if I find a kit I want to brew lol
