Unfortunately, being new, I didn't know about taking gravity readings. So I don't have an OG to go off of. But over the last couple days the gravity has from 1.018 to about 1.0165. Is it still fermenting enough to NOT bottle? I put a sample into a plastic bottle to check for expansion. Thanks for the help as always.

Also, I've noticed that its not clearing up. How long does that normally take? I've already transferred it to a secondary fermenter.

Mine looked good after 3 weeks in the secondary. But there was still stuff floating on the bottom.

that's sort of a how long is a piece of string question. some clear in weeks, some of mine have taken 3 months. there are many variables

if you bottle at 1.016 you are pretty much guaranteed bottle bombs

I always wait until it stops bubbling before bottling. I left mine in for 3 months before transferring to secondary. I'll probably let it sit for another few weeks before bottling.
