my ciders has been in primary fermenter for 29 days now, 2 days ago the air lock was bubbling every 4 seconds..now it's bubbling every 18-20 seconds..Has it slowed down enough to bottle?

Your about 1/5th of the way there. I plan on letting mine sit in the fermentor for atleast 5 months before I bottle, Then it will sit in the bottle another month before I strat to drink it.

If ya want rack it to a secondary and get it off the yeast cake and clear/age some more, but I wouldnt bottle it yet.

Well I guess ill let it sit for awhile longer..Thanks

Pumbaa, do you rack to a secondary? When you bottle do you repitch yeast? I have been wondering if I will have enough yeast when I bottle for sufficient carbonation.

yes I use a secondary
no I dont repitch yeast, but I like my cider still too.
I would imagine you would have more then enuff yeast to carbonate if you would like it carbonated.
