I recently brewed a pumpkin ale and I believe I didn't use enough pumpkin. I want to add more so I was thinking of boiling some with a little bit of brown sugar and adding it to my secondary. I having a nagging suspicion that I should ferment it a third time to clear it up if I choose to do that, but I don't know if it's even a good idea to add after the first boil of your wort.

Chime in!

That should be fine. You could also make like a pumpkin spice tea with your priming sugar - cinnamon, allspice, etc. I've never done that myself so YMMV but I've heard of others doing that.
