What do you think? Could a good American Wheat be produced from the second runnings of a Wheatwine?

I bet, but making a huge wheat to start might be a challenge.

Another idea aside from the parti gyle method I'm considering (have spreadsheet worked out already) is to brew a huge beer but limit the post boil volume such that when split to two fermenters the second one would require a 2 gallon water addition which decreases IBU, ABV and color.

Wheat, I've found, is ready to drink as soon as carbed so it is my new favorite style. Good luck if you try it.

That's a good idea, normonster! I parti gyled a 1.100 Strong Scotch to a 1.049 Strong Bitter just the other day. Everything seems to be going well so far, both jumped to a vigorous fermentation within 12 hours!
