wheat beer with strawberries

so i picked up a brewers best wheat ale kit and want to have it sit on strawberries while in the secondary i was wondering how long to have it sit in the secondary(i relize it will restart fermenting a little again)and how much strawberries and what kind. , thanks dave

Just buy frozen strawberries, the cheap kind is okay. I made a succulent strawberry blonde awhile back and used 3lbs. I got the recipe on here and I think the guys used something like 6 or 8 lbs. Mine was pretty tart/sweet. He said his was almost lambic sweet. I didn't want lambic sweet, hence the reduction. I racked atop the strawberries in the secondary for 10 days before kegging. It was good and didn't last long.

Like I said, it was a tart kind of sweet.
