I think screwed this brew. I used a tiny bit of cardamom in my honey wheat beer to see if it would add some depth (probably should have used corriander?) but it totally shines through. I literally used like a gram in a 5 gallon batch. I waited 6 weeks before I tried the beer and it is questionable. Has anyone used a spice like this? It has been another couple weeks since I tried it, I just want to know if it will ever even out....

I do like cardamom but, I wouldn't have domne this. It may mellow over time to be palateble but the beer will prolly be bright by then.
 
I was afraid of that. I'm not going to throw it out, Ill just give it lots of time. I'm just going to have to brew 2 batches this weekend so I have plentifulness this spring/summer
