Decided to make an all grain North Coast Blue Star wheat clone. Split the 5 gal batch. Bottled first half (clone), then added some orange extract to the rest of batch (orange wheat). Bottle conditioned both for 14 days and the regular wheat is perfectly carbonated, while the orange wheat is dead flat. 2 things I think are happening:

1. The orange wheat still needs more time to carbonate/condition or

2. The orange extract killed off the remaining yeast in suspension

Am I on the right track here? Anyone else have experience using orange extract?
