Thanks to all who have responded to the poll about the NYC Brewery Crawl, originally posted on the previous page.

I will be closing the poll at the end of the week, and then we will move forward with getting **** organized. A thread will be created once this happens. If you did not complete the form, the link is here:

*Jan 20 and Feb 10 were removed from the form, as they conflict with mod schedules and also specific beer-related events that would affect the crawl list.
*SB Weekend/all Saturday NFL playoff games were taken into account when choosing potential dates.
*PM me with any other questions/comments/concerns.

Hey Gene do you go to Gary's in Wayne a lot? I'll give them a call at some point, but any idea if they are doing a Black Friday thing this year for Bourbon County? I'm going to be in Wayne this year so I'll be stopping by there on Friday morning probably.

I go there now and then - they have done it in the past, but then there have been years where they've been flaky about it (having a list before the day-of, or just skipping it entirely).

Great, that's good to know. I also know NJ has sucked about distributing Bourbon County on Black Friday in years before but I think that's all sorted out now.

Dude, I know places that don't get their Bourbon County allotment until like a month or two after it's released on Black Friday. I'm heading up to DeCicco's in Brewster, NY, 30 minutes from my in-laws, they usually have a ton of regular and some variants + previous year's kegs on tap.

That's nearly an hour and a half from where I'm at in Jersey. I'll just hope Gary's gets theirs out and if they don't maybe some will still be around in Philly. Otherwise I'll miss out and whatever.

Stopped over at Tonewood on my way back from Longwood Gardens the other day. Its a really nice place with some solid IPAs. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff as they were really friendly and helpful. Also can get food from the places around the corner and bring it back to the brewery. Its worth a visit if you're down in the area.

Looks like it's official, The Referend Bier Blendery is having a party to celebrate it's first anniversary. Tried a bunch of ways to share the facebook link but nothing worked. Until they post it to ig or whatever you can look up the info on their Facebook page. Dec. 2nd... Y'all coming, right?

Details:

The Referend is celebrating one year of openness with new beers and old beers, young beers and old beers, new friends and old friends, young friends and old friends.

In gratitude for all the support we've received this first year, we are working toward creating an event to be involuntarily remembered for years to come.

Follow along for updates, details; join us!

K so that's just a screen shot, why don't facebook posts work anymore? Anyway around this? Unless the powers that be made it so...

I think it's the privacy settings of the account that created the event causing the problem. I don't know why Jspriest wouldn't want us sharing the event though, and also, I don't know how the internets work (tubes, right?) so whatever.

But I figured the screenshot and details were in some way helpful, since a lot of people on here hate/don't use/don't have a Facebook account anyway.

Yeah so I tried to share the link somewhere else and it wouldn't work so it's definitely a facebook thing

Gene: By the way I called Gary's in Wayne and the dude I talked to said they think they are getting a decent amount of bourbon county so they are just opening like normal, no lists or anything. Guess we'll see if he's correct next Friday.
