I went randomly last week and everyone around me was talking about how they just go at open every Saturday hoping for Sunday Brunch. People can use their time however they want but it's a beautiful Saturday down the shore, enjoy it!

Message some dudes I work with I figure we're ******* with me. Wasn't any of them. Message this toolbox Brad to see if he snaked it, which I figured he did, and he admitted to stealing my 5'0clock sneakbox. What a savage. Dude better have some ******* beer for me on Monday. What a dick.

I just drank a bottle, was totally fine. I'd say definitely check the cage to be sure that it is securely fastened, but as long as it is I think it should be fine as long as you dont keep it in your trunk. The bottle I opened did not explode or anything upon untwisting the cage (and was not over carbed by any means), but clearly some have very different experiences. I'd just be careful when opening, chill it beforehand and you should be okay. They mentioned the carb levels beforehand but obviously the whole explosion with cage on was unexpected. My guess is likely due to temp changes and cages not placed on/secured well, but haven't seen anything official other than the people posting on FB groups

There was an official response on one of their FB posts yesterday. Basically said insufficient closure, email them and they will replace.

Oops! My fault I missed that comment. Good move to offer refunds...always sucks for that to happen but I guess with spontaneous fermentation it's always a risk (see first A&G sale...). Hope it doesn't negatively affect Referend overall...the bottle I had was really, really nice.

Right, it appears a handful of bottles released (less than a case reported overall across all channels) had wire hoods insufficiently seated to withstand both the already high CO2 contents of the bottles, and excesses of heat and/or agitation. It's a low failure rate infinitely higher than I'm happy with, and we're refunding or replacing any affected bottles.

Well it hasn't been as good as last year for a few years straight so it's really not good anymore. It also sees almost national distribution, so it's not rare which makes it have less demand. The limited release pastry stout market has gone insane, and people are only chasing the hype whales.

Yup was pleasantly surprised to find it on tap at Porta a few weeks ago. Of course you had shitlords asking for it in plastic cups because they held an ounce or two more than the actual glasses they were serving beer in. Gotta maximize that oz/$ ratio
