Well it's festival season and I'm technically also the brewery rep so I'll be missing anything fun that happens at least the next 4 saturdays. Maybe glennl can put some anny bottles on the side for me and the boys at alementary? More than glad to pay for my bottles through a proxy.

That being said if anyone is at garden state brew fest, ales and tails, central jersey beer fest or harborside Jc beer fest, stop by the alementary booth and say hi. I'm the big guy with the beard. A lot of you already know me and some of you will also be standing behind tables answering the standard beer fest questions. But Saturday is my first festival as a brewery employee and I couldn't be more excited. Put in my time and took my lumps and was lucky enough to be able to support many of our local breweries as both a retail and wholesale customer.

That being said I'm already feeling the FOMO for the Kane anny party. So everyone drink as much vanilla antead and Sunday brunch as your bodies can hold. And keep supporting local beer and just small independent craft breweries in general. But for the love of god please come distract me from all the idiots that treat a beer festival like a 4 hour open bar where they're trying to really get their money'a worth. Unless it's a hot girl asking me the stupid questions. If that happens then **** off I don't know you. Haha. Seriously though I hate all of you so have fun at Kane or wherever you go Saturday.

Just booked my VT trip on November 10-13. anyone else going up that time? It is 'stick season' up there so hoping some peeps from here might be up there to spend some quality time. I AirBnB'd it this time. There is a house right behind pro-pig on there now. 2 br, $200 a night. full kitchen, etc.
I'll give you my list the week before.

If you thought it was just ok, you wouldn't buy a bottle.

I know it will be better then ok, if any survive the morning I'll buy some. I think Kane's anniversary beers are seriously under appreciated. I just think it's a bit weird to celebrate an anniversary yet not serve the beer you made to celebrate it.

It will be awesome that's for sure, but that's the only thing I could think of them doing that way. When they have their anniversary at the Nip n' Tuck (first bar to carry their beer) in Long Branch it'll be on tap.

Anyone do Kane? I'm debating if I want to attempt this.

In the bottle line now. It's moving pretty fast. But the line for pours is loooooong.

Edit: So the deal for pours is you buy 4 tickets first, samples only, and you can only get 1 pour at a time. Some you prettymuch get your beer and then get right back in line for the next one.

Edit 2: Bottle line is short. It took me like 30 mins to get thru and its half as long as it was when I got in. Stout and quad still available, but I think only a few more cases of the stout.

Edit 3: Fifth is sold out. There were definitely people going thru the line more than once. Oh well. Shitlords gonna shitlord.

Anyone pop a fifth open yet? How is it??

Popped the fifth as the first beer of the afternoon for football yesterday. This beer is just another example at how well Kane creates barrel aged stouts. I'm not sure what the blend is but theres some brunch in there for sure. Tastes a bit like a brunchy antead. Chocolate flavored with cinnamon and prominent barrel aged qualities, definitely a winner. I hope more gets released about what's in it and the process to create it.
