The alert came up and I showed the phone to blondie005. She knew what was up. We were in the car 10 minutes later. Best wife ever?
I could've done it... but I felt like there would've been an awful line at 1pm so I stayed local... Dammit haha

I'm with Os, if anyone has an extra, let's see what we can work out...

Tim got one lol

i heard it wasn't happening this year... =/ i could be totally wrong but apparently Mike told Phil (you know who i'm talking about lol) that there was too much going on this year.
Tim wasn't the confidant on that?

"ugh, too many bottle releases"

That stinks though, usually falls in line with St. Patrick's Day.

Damn, I loved that event. :(
Port Omna is a perfect dry stout.

I'm obviously not going to comment specifically on their list, but there's definitely room for debate!

I will say, though, it's pretty cool that we have arrived at a point where we can actually debate about the SIXTEEN best breweries in NJ. It wasn't long ago that we had barely a handful of good breweries, let alone so many that we have to narrow it down to the 16 best.

I agree.and with 4 or 5 more opening this and next month, it is a good time for beer in N.J.
There are a few more not on this list too. ;)
I have noticed that breweries in N.J. Have become like local pizza places... You always think the one closest to you makes the best.

Yea interesting list at best. But hey it's a list with 16 nj breweries. I remember when I could count one hand how many in nj. N a few were poor at time n have improved.

have some of the board folks tried most of the new offerings? I've had mixed success but have to believe there are some hidden gems popping up, even just for one style.

This Saturday! Silience release, I Want to See Mountains on tap, and new BA stout Where the Shadows Lie. Gonna be a good day @Tuckahoe Brewing...

Alementary Grand opening 4.16. Gonna try and make it out. Would love a good place nearby. Taste that Hackensack terroir;)

my friend is working there, so i will definitely be in attendance

Any info on what they plan to launch with? I looked through their website and social media accounts but didn't see much in the way of actual information about actual beer.
yeah its kind of a surprise i guess you can say, you can just show up for the grand opening and scope out what they have on tap.
