But seriously if your looking nj beer discussions start it up almost everyone in this thread is willing discuss the beer scene

Dark City - Cannot recommend

Asbury Park Brewing Co. - Beer got alright; brewery space is lovely

Little Dog - Was good when they opened but last time I stopped in I was disappointed

Jughandle - Does some less popular styles fairly well, but is still inconsistent

Icarus - Out of the way from Kane, beer is ok; dogs abound

You could just go into Asbury Park and check out Talula's, the Festhalle, Bond Street, or Asbury Distilling (who is making some decent af gin cocktails right now).

EDIT: Also if it is before like 7 in Asbury you can hit Porta or Watermark. Anytime after and it's usually a shitshow.

EDIT 2: I also forgot about Reyla and Bar Rio Costera. Both awesome spots with outstanding food and cocktails.

I do go to breweries both with people and by myself when I'm not looking to hang out long (I do have weekends full of kid's sports games all year). I'm just talking about the website stuff. I actually do stop by Conclave often. Tim is very friendly as well as the owner of an awesome brewery.

Just happens a large majority of this thread know each other so there will be a lot of inside jokes and what no. By no means that it can't be great option for information all depends on which area of the state you are discussing.

Also, I guess my North Jersey cover is blown bc I automatically (and half drunkenly) just jumped all over Jughandle, thinking it was about the bar... and it wasn't. If my assumption is correct, you know damn well what I am talking about.

If you have never been to Belfort brewing next to Carton it's actually a cool little place. They make a pilsner too which I'm fond of. But what do I know...
