What was looking like a great double brew went south quiclky after we lost power near the end of the first boil. We rarely loose power for more than hour so we decided to wait for the power to come back on and then proceed with the chill. Well the power came back on 8 hours later and we had already covered the wort up for the night. My question is, this morning should we go straight to the fermenter or bring the wort to a boil to reduce the possibility of bacteria? If we boil should we transfer to another kettle leaving all the hop particles, etc behind?
