I purchased an apple cider kit to make my first cider. It's a basic apple cider that I want to make into a spiced apple cider. The kit is supposed to make 6 gallons, but I think I'll only top it up to 5 gallons. What do I need, or should I add to it? How much do I need? And when do I add it, during fermenting or afterwards?
What spices to add?
