What do you use for a false bottom? Would this work?

I just started my first batch of all grain beer last week. I used a drilled bucket in a modified BIAB setup, with a vegetable steamer as the false bottom. I wanted to know if anyone else out there has used a vegetable steamer as the sole filtration device in their mash tun? It fits great in a 7 gallon bucket, and they're cheap and available at any cooking shop. My concern is that it won't catch enough of the mash and it will allow for a drain clog.

If it's similar to a steamer I have in my kitchen the holes aren't fine enough and will let a lot of the grain through.

...maybe wrap the whole unit in a hap bag or paint strainer?

I ended up covering the steamer in metal screen. It works like a charm.

Are the strainer and mesh screen both stainless?
