I'm sure others have tried this.
I decided to use all of my leftover ingredients to make the next brew. Here they are:
1/2 lb CaraPils
1/2 lb Aromatic
1/4 lb Chocolate
7 ld liquid Amber extract
2 oz Saaz hops (60 minute)
1 oz Hallartaur (1 minute)
Octoberfest Liquid Yeast-white labs
Pilsner Liquid Yeast-white labs
The grain was crushed 30 days ago. The yeast had 1 week before "best before" date.
Since I am relying on mother nature for temperature control, the temperature ranges from 38-55 degrees (f).
My question is, what did I make? Before fermantation, it tasted really good.
