I canNOT remember to take pics, but we had a rotisseried prime rib roast (bones were the best part!) and ovenroasted asparagus - I had finished cooking up a bunch of sausage patties earlier, and rolled the asparagus through the resulting fat, which was flavored with garlic, sage, and red pepper flakes with which the patties had been liberally doused - DANG that was the BEST asparagus! A lovely glass of red wine rounded out the meal.
In about an hour, we'll have a slice of cherry crumble pie. I love it when it's just KOTC and me. No stress, plenty of leftover goodness, few dishes to wash!
