Scampi style shrimp over spaghetti and broccoli.

Made pot roast last night for the first time since early spring. Two nice thick chuck roasts from Sam's Club, heavily seasoned, well-seared in bacon fat, and cooked with half a bottle of red wine and 6 cloves of garlic and a fat tablespoon of beef stock paste. We like ours simple. Ate with some of those homemade jalapeños in escabeche. So good!
 
Maybe jumping the gun on “cooking”, but I made up 13# of country sausage and 5# German bratwursts!
Going to fry up a little excess sausage, (too little for packaging) and add it to the 2 gallons of 3 bean chili I made yesterday. We will be eating chili tonight with my Nut Brown Ale! 🍺
