I am not sure where to include this post. So I decided to include it in the most visible post.

I want to make a Graf and possibly enter it into a competition. However, I don't know if graph would be considered an beer or a cider, I feel it is a cider. I was wondering if it would be in the BJCP 2014 guidelines for category 31B (alternative fermentables)if I tone down the added cider

Thanks you

:D

It is "typically" hopped cider with a bit of malt.

28D. Other Specialty Cider/Perry

If it is more beer like than cider like enter it as
2008 currently used for competitions
23. Specialty Beer - list a base style or closest.

2014 is a draft so probably 34C. Experimental Beer -

looks like 31b is specifically sugars not fruit / juices
